The Scalpel & Tweed website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Wix.com also regularly monitors their systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, and regularly seeks new ways and Third Party Services for further enhancing the security of their Services and protection of their Visitors’ and Users’ privacy.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

REFUNDS & RETURNS POLICY

Please note that all products are handmade, therefore no 2 products will ever be completely the same. This makes for a totally individual & unique item.


We are not liable for failed delivery attempts or where incorrect delivery information has been given.

We hope that all our gifts arrive at their destinations in one piece. However, we know damage can sometime occur in transit. Refunds or credit notes will only be issued for damaged goods.

We will of course do our best to replace any damaged gifts if appropriate as soon as possible.


Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

All gifts shot be checked upon arrival in case they were damaged in transit , failure to check may result in damaged goods out of the 7 day return / refund policy.

  
To be eligible for a return, your item must have been damaged in transit. It must also be in the original packaging. We DO NOT cover the cost of return postage or any courier fees.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and inform you of next steps to replace the item if appropriate or process a refund . All items MUST be received within 7 days from the date of the first contact to report breakages.
Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at scalpelandtweed@googlemail.com

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £15, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cant guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
